OBJECTIVE

To turn individual acts of remembrance into a powerful tribute honoring all law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice.

SOLUTION

By transforming the original campaign into a simple, meaningful act of remembrance that is built around the Remembrance Rose. With the rose being tipped onto the letter it gives the donor an immediate, tangible connection to the mission and gives the rose an actual purpose. This strategy strengthens the original concept and makes it substantially more impactful. A clear 1-2-3 step treatment makes participation easy, guiding the donor to simply tear off the Remembrance Rose slip, and return it in the provided envelope with their most generous gift. When completed, they can see their rose joined with those of fellow supporters on the wreath.

Each returned rose becomes part of the Wreath of Remembrance, creating a powerful visual tribute to the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect and serve. The idea is extended beyond direct mail. With email and social media campaigns, it creates multiple opportunities for supporters to participate and reinforce the message. By combining a proven direct mail response device with a tangible symbol of remembrance, and connected digital experience, the campaign turns into a giving act of participation—one rose, one tribute, each contributing to the “Wreath of Remembrance”.
